Can you pull off a bum bag?

Can you pull off a bum bag?

Every few seasons, designers try to give bum bags or the fanny pack the time of day and usually it’s not very successful. However it seems that this is the year that the bum bag is finally receiving it’s day in the sun. Can’t say I’ve ever really been a huge fan of the bum bag but I feel like the more I see it the less ugly it becomes to me. I have always viewed it as something that you wear to a festival not your average bag. But I feel as though designers are in a way trying to change the way that we view the bum bag with all of these cool designs that they’re releasing recently.

Although they may not go with your outfit, in a way bum bags are quite practical, I mean u don’t have to worry about deals or anything and all your things are right In front of you. If you want to purchase a bum bag I say go for it!

My favourite bum bags on the market right now;

Crochet Swimsuit; The only swimsuit you need this summer

Crochet Swimsuit; The only swimsuit you need this summer

The crochet swimsuit is definitely dominating the summer of 2017 and I cant say I hate it. Later this summer I am going to Ibiza and there is no doubt that I’ll probably be packing more than one crochet swimsuit, they’re so beautiful and I cannot wait to show you guys! Are any of you going anywhere nice this summer? If so please let me know in the comments!
I am so ready to get my skin out this summer, the weather in the UK has been nothing but bipolar so far which is no surprise; one minute the suns beaming and the next it’s pouring. However, summer is slowly creeping up on us and it is in my opinion the best time to experiment with your fashion choices, take a risk and have fun with your wardrobe, treat your self on pay day because you’re only young once, so make the most of it, wear whatever the hell you want.
Crochet is another comeback trend however this time with a twist! Is 2017 the new 90s? Crochet was no surprise huge in the 90s and this year it has come back into our lives in the form of a swimsuit/ bralet.
The great thing about a crochet swimsuit is that you’re not limited – you can also where the bikini top as a bralet or crop top making it perfect for festival season and summer days. And they go with anything and everything, my favourite combo is by far a ripped pair of mom shorts and a crochet bralet. You cannot go wrong!
Every major fashion outlet is selling crochet  this season, in my opinion it’s the trend to wear this summer. You’d be a fool not to purchase anything crochet this summer! Here are some of my favourites:

Review; Got 2 be glam force and the oil licious styling oil

Review; Got 2 be glam force and the oil licious styling oil

It can be so hard trying to find hair products that are suited to protective hair styles on the high street but I think I’ve finally found my perfect solutions. Over the last few weeks since I’ve had my braids in I’ve been using the got 2 be oil Licious styling oil, it’s instantly become a favourite for me and my mum, it gives your braids the perfect amount of shine. They look brand new! And it smells like mangoes, and if anyone knows me they know I love mangoes so this is like heaven for me. Personally I think it’s so important for hair products to smell good because after all, this is something you’re applying on your hair and it’s just like your body, you want them both to smell good. The best thing about this is that it’s not greasy like other oils and it doesn’t stick to your hands, it honestly has no faults. I find that the best way to apply the oil is if you first apply 2 pumps into the palm of your hands and then rub it in and then apply it onto the braids, if you feel like you need a little more feel free to add more pumps.

Another product I’ve been trying out is the got 2 be glam force fast dry spray gel. We all know how important it is to keep our baby hairs intact. It took me a while to get used the spray idea but know I honestly can’t go back to using normal gels. The formula is amazing it’s not stiff or sticky in any way and it’s smells so so good, it’s only fault is that it doesn’t last for the entire day but I guess it may depend on how much apply. In my opinion I think that the best way to apply this gel is to spray it directly on the hairs rather than on a towel that way you get as much product as possible but make sure that your hair is damp before hand that way it is easier to lay the hairs when you brush them through. Lastly, the key to this is to ‘set’ the hairs by wrapping a scarf, a headband or some tights over the hairs, this will give them the ultimate lasting power.

How I Would Spend My Summer If I won the Lottery

How I Would Spend My Summer If I won the Lottery

In recent months I have kind of neglected my ‘what I would buy/spend my time if I won the lottery’ but no more, my series is back and is back with a bang. I am here to inspire all you dreamers and optimist out there. The good thing about dreamers is that we’re always positive and optimistic about the future, we only hope for the best and see the best in everything and everyone. Sometimes it can be a good and bad thing. But sometimes there is no point in dreaming if all it’s ever going to be is a dream. We should all try and pursue our dreams no matter how big or small they are because anyone can achieve anything in life if they try hard enough, right now I’m working my hardest to try and pursue mine – I’m writing to you guys. It’s better to know that you tried rather than to give up and not try at all because in the end you could be living the life that you have always dreamed of. You could be living your dream. However if you never try you will always be wondering what if and you’ll never be truly happy. Do you want to be living someone else’s dream or yours? Although, life does not always go the way that we intend we have two choices; we can either take control and start living our lives or we can just let thing pass and exist. What are you going to do?

Last year I did one of these and it was very popular so I decided to do another one and make this an annual thing. With 10 weeks to spare I have decided to dedicate this post to Europe, we are going to go to as many places as possible. Last years post included a range of different places but this year I discovered just how beautiful the continent of Europe is and I thought that I might give you a few places to add to your travel bucket list and hopefully inspire you! I love discovering new places, learning new languages and experiences other cultures, it would be a dream for me to travel  the world.

If we are going to spend an entire summer travelling around Europe we need to travel in style and what better way to travel than by private jet! A whole plane to yourself and your loved ones that fits your schedule, it doesn’t get any better than that. My number one choice of private jet charter would definitely have to be Private Fly. Although I haven’t tested them out myself I have done my research and they have some of the best reviews, I can trust that if you ever book with them you would be in great hands. And you get to choose your aircraft too! The high life is truly amazing.

Where to go for brunch if you’re ever in Bulawayo

Where to go for brunch if you’re ever in Bulawayo

I cannot believe We’re already half way through the year. How is it June already? I honesty cannot get over how fast this year is going by. It’s literally flying by and I don’t know how I feel about that, I feel as though I’ve only accomplished a few of my resolutions and now I only have 6 months to try and complete the rest of them!

It’s hard to believe that it’s almost been a year since I last visited my hometown of Bulawayo because I remember it like it was yesterday. And it’s almost been a year since I went to France with my favourite people. And it’s been 3 years since I went to Amsterdam. It’s unbelievable. The last four years of my life have gone by so quickly for me, it’s kind of hard to comprehend.

Considering I go to Bulawayo almost every single year without fail you’d think that I’d be an expert by now, but no not really. I still don’t know the city centre but I know the best place for brunch – 26 on park. It was during our first few days in Bulawayo and we’d just come back from the country visiting my grandmother and my Auntie and I were looking for a good place to eat and a friend of my cousin recommended 26 on park.

It’s situated in the suburbs of Bulawayo away from all the chaos. It’s peaceful and the scenery is beautiful. Not to mention the food is amazing, I would highly recommend this place for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
